Hobbies

Although I am a journalism major, I am very interested in all forms of writing. Along with receiving four awards for Journalistic Excellence in high school, I was also extremely active in nearly all writing programs offered. What may surprise you is that English isn't my first language. I arrived in the United States when I was nine years old, knowing absolutely no English. With the help of my father, who is a linguist and several tutors along the way, English has become the single most important factor of my career oriented life.
